Charles B. Brewer, 86, born December 25, 1922 in Louisville, KY to Charles, Sr. and Doris Brewer. A graduate of DuPont Manual High and the University of Louisville. He retired from General Electric in Okla. City after 34 yrs. Charles served his country in WWII as a Navy Beach Jumper. After discharge he met and married the love of his life in 1947. He was a 55 yr. member of the Barbershop Society, a 50 yr. member of the Masonic Lodge in Louisville, KY, and a member of Putnam City Baptist Church for over 40 yrs. Charles leaves behind his loving wife of 62 yrs., Ruth; daughters Linda and husband Pat McCright of Garland, TX, Betty and husband George Molloy of Breckenridge, CO; and son Charles Bruce and wife Sharen Brewer of Stonewall, LA. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Kim and husband Terry Wedeking, SherriAnn Brewer, Chris Brewer, Bryon and wife Nikki Brewer and Tara Molloy; five great-grandchildren; brother Richard Erwin of Louisville, KY; and many loving nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Christmas Connection or Putnam City Baptist Church. Family will be receiving friends from 6-8pm Thursday at Mercer Adams Funeral Home. Service will be at 2pm Friday, May 29th in Mercer- Adams Chapel followed by interment in Rose Hill Burial Park.
